Description
The DeFelsko PosiTest PC Powder Checker is built for powder coaters who want to verify film build before the part goes into the oven. Because it measures uncured powder thickness without touching the coating, it supports faster decisions at the point of application and helps reduce delays and rework associated with waiting until after cure to discover thickness issues. The instrument is a dedicated stand alone unit with a simple icon based interface and a Target Grid that helps operators maintain the correct distance and alignment for consistent measurements. It is designed to perform well on moving lines and swinging parts, and it can continuously measure in Scan Mode when you need to check broader areas. For documentation and process control, the PosiTest PC stores up to 999 readings in a batch and can download stored readings to PosiSoft Desktop software. For automated or integrated workflows, it can stream positioning and measurement data through USB, including a USB Keyboard Mode that emulates keystrokes to send readings to a PC or PLC.
